Release: May 1, 2018

Genres: New Adult, Fantasy

Amazon / Book Depository

Synopsis via Goodreads: The Winter Solstice. In a week. I was still new enough to being High Lady that I had no idea what my formal role was to be. If we’d have a High Priestess do some odious ceremony, as lanthe had done the year before. A year. Gods, nearly a year since Rhys had called in his bargain, desperate to get me away from the poison of the Spring Court to save me from my despair. Had he been only a minute later, the Mother knew what would have happened. Where I’d now be. Snow swirled and eddied in the garden, catching in the brown fibers of the burlap covering the shrubs My mate who had worked so hard and so selflessly, all without hope that I would ever be with him We had both fought for that love, bled for it. Rhys had died for it.

Being one of my most anticipated releases of all time, the wait for this has been brutal. I’ve been looking forward to reading this novella the moment I finished A Court of Wings and Ruin and even though I read that book less than a year ago, it’s felt like AGES. And — not gonna lie — I don’t know how much more of this waiting I can handle… ya girl is not the most patient.

However, I do know that the wait will definitely be worth it since we’ll get to catch up with the faves and see how post-war life is treating them! I’m especially interested to see what is going on between a certain OTP of mine, *cough* NESSIAN *cough*. For real though, after reading the final chapter of ACOWAR I felt personally attacked by how they were reacting towards each other… or shall I say, not reacting.

But besides all of that stressful stuff going on, I’m also hyped to see Azriel, Elain, Lucien, and another OTP of mine: Feyre and Rhysand. The plot even seems like it is going to mainly focus on them which i’m not too mad about… okay, totally not mad about AT ALL. Especially when we all know there will be some certain scenes with said certain couple that may or may not have to do with a certain wingspan…

ALRIGHTY THEN. Note to future self: no more fantasizing over Rhysand before typing blog posts!

Happy Reading! ♡xoxo

  1. I haven’t read any of this series but I love the title of this one! All the titles in this series really, they just have that otherwordly vibe or something. Plus I love books with fae elements, so I’m thinking of giving these a try. Hope this one is awesome.

    1. I know right!! The cover is absolutely s t u n n i n g & OMG you have to pick it up! They seem chunky and super time-consuming to get through but you’d be surprised how hooked you get and end up speeding through it all :))

  2. I’ve never read a novel by Sarah J. Maas. But do know her books/stories/style is well loved in the bookworm community! Plus, the covers for these books are CRAZY good. 🙂

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland’s WOW.
