Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read

TTT-Big2Top Ten Tuesday is a blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Every week there’s a new given topic and you post your top ten list that goes with the subject. This weeks topic is “Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read” and honestly, I could make a list that includes waaay more than 10. For some weird reason, I have this addiction of adding more books to my TBR than I do to my read shelf… idek!

With that said, here is my list (is it bad that this was hard to make since I had SO many options??!):IMG_2073

Jellicoe Road, by Melina Marchetta

I saw a quote from this book a looong time ago and it was SO CUTE. I just knew I had to read it!

Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell

Yes, I haven’t picked this one up yet. Yes, this is a staple for all book lovers. Yes, I am extremely disappointed in myself. Moving on…

Popular: Vintage Wisdom for a Modern Geek, by Maya Van Wagenen

This book has honestly been on my TBR the looongest out of all the ten books so that’s pretty wild! I loove anything vintage and this book sounds so ME like I need to get into it already!!

More Happy Than Not, by Adam Silvera

I’m always so ashamed to say I haven’t read any of Adam Silvera’s books because he is literally such an awesome human being and even though I know his books will break my heart, i’m up for it!

▸ The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, by Leslye Walton

This one sounds SO beautiful like, WOW. It’s also the first time i’ve ever wanted to pick a book up because of it’s title lol.

These Broken Stars, by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Sooooo i’ve heard this is like Titanic but in space…. IN SPACE!!! Heck yeah, sign me the eff up!

The Young Elites, by Marie Lu

Disclaimer: I’ve actually already read about 50 pages of this and LOVED every second of it. For some reason, though, I stopped reading it and totally forgot about everything that happened so a reread is definitely in store for the future!

Ruby Red, by Kerstin Gier

I watched the German adaptations for this series and really liked those so now I neeed to read the novels (I know, i’m doing things a bit backwards, oops)! I just love myself some time travel and a good ole’ adorable, angst-filled relationship!!

The Winner’s Curse, by Marie Rutkowski

I’m actually not too sure what these books are about but, hey, they got some cute covers and a lot of people I know seemed to enjoy them! (I’ve also heard it has a realllly cute romance??? We’ll see!)

Graceling, by Kristin Cashore

I met Kristin Cashore a couple of months ago for a signing at my local independent bookstore and absolutely fell in love with her personality. She’s super sweet and that just makes me want to pick up anything she puts out there!

Those are my ten books for today’s Top Ten Tuesday! There are a LOT more books that I didn’t put on here but, overall, these are the priorities at the moment!!

Be sure to let me know if you’ve read any of the ones I mentioned above and/or which books have been on your TBR for waaaay too long! Until next time,

Happy Reading! ♡xoxo

  1. The only one I’ve read on this list is Fangirl, but there are definitely a few other things that sound interesting, particularly The Young Elites. Off to add some more things to my TBR!
